World's Tallest Man Marries

Bao Xishun, a 7-foot-9 herdsman from Inner Mongolia, married 5-foot-6 saleswoman Xia Shujian in a traditional Mongolian wedding ceremony in March of 2007. Bao's 28 year old wife is half his age and from his hometown of Chiefeng even though marriage advertisements were sent all over the world, the Beijing News reported.Bao was in the news in December after he used his long arms to save two dolphins by pulling out plastic from their stomachs. Bao is pictured below with the world's smallest man, He Pingping who is 2 feet 4 inches. See more pictures and info about the wedding via the link section of my blog.

On a similar note, the world's tallest dog, a 107 cm Great Dane named Gibson, met the world's smallest dog, a 10.16 cm Chihuahua named Boo Boo. Marriage does not seem to be in the cards although they did seem to appreciate eachother.
