His grandparents came all the way from Persia and friends and family gathered for a very heartfelt service followed by a fun filled party on a boat in Marina Del Rey.
University Synagogue in Brentwood was the location for the Bar Mitzvah service .Tall windows of stained glass were an impressive and colorful backdrop. Dara was very gracious - posing for countless pictures with relatives who hugged him and kissed him. It was nice to see such so much affection. The party on the boat was a huge success. the teens were on the upper deck while parents, relatives and their friends partied below.
